    In my current career, I speak often in the classroom about alarm systems. I met Josh when our church was looking at purchasing a camera security system. I soon had him at my residence for a system. Josh or any employee did not attempt to up-sell me and addressed ideas on my camera numbers and location. When the COVID restrictions relaxed, our system was installed. The installation was very smooth, the cameras were very well placed and the inside monitor and DVR were also well placed to not be outstanding in case of a break-in. The installation guys did very well at any minor mess they made and ensured everything was clean and put back in place. The office calls and emails I have made were all answered in very polite and professional ways. The explanation of the system given was in a manner I could understand. All questions at the time were answered. I was recommended to contact the office if any questions came up in the future. The security of this camera system accompanied with my security alarm system is now a great comfort in keeping my family safe. The hard wired zone are all working and set of the alarm when armed. My problem is that the wireless zones that were previously recognized by the system (ie, the chime would sound when they opened) are no longer recognized. Now i have tried changin dip switch settings. The house code on the receiver is set to off and 00 programmed into the system. How do I program these 2 wireless zones???Also, if you can remember the original settings put the dip switches on the transmitters back the way they were. This is hard to explain without you having the references.I can bypass it and arm.just cannot figure out how to arm the last two zones.Will appreciate all the help you could give.thanksBasically, you have to set the dip switches to match the charts in the 4110xm installer manual.At this point, with the information you have provided, I can't provide you with any meaningful advice.I would like to add a wirele.One of the 5816 transmi.Most of the old security wires have been preserved but the system needs a lot of work. For example, many of the windows had security screens which have been replaced with regular screens. We had 8 wired zones with 3 keypads. To be honest, I think we had a short or something before because the alarm would go off for no reason sometimes. So I'd like to start from scratch, disconnecting everything but the keypads, confirm everything is happy, then maybe add in the zones for the 2 glass breaks (which should require no changes) and then add the other 6 zones one at a time. We don't have any monitoring at the moment. All we really use the system for is making sure everything is closed when we leave the house (so the cats can't get out). When all the wired stuff is working I'd like to add a 6160rf and add wireless devices where none had existed before.

    I do have the Vista manuals. The first thing I'd like to do is dump the zone programming info before making any new changes. Thanks Worked pretty well. I am trying to re-set it because, while we were away for part of the summer.it was turned off and now ALL of the red leds are lit on the control panel. I would like to get back ground zero and just add each station. Each led designates a particular zone. In the past, as I best recall, I removed the back up battery and then the main panel's plug. I could then reset the system by going to each individual sensor ( three doors and two motion detectors) and, after putting the system in INSTALL mode, hit the test button.the panel would chime.and an individual red led would come on. When I tried that today, I was able to get the chime.but ALL of the leds are on. When I put the unit back into the operate mode.Seems like I have to clear something.but.removing both the battery and the 110 v doesn't to do it. Any insight or help appreciated.I can re-solder that.but.I hoped to get the thing working before I messed with that wire. We welcome your comments and. They installed and have maintained a burglar alarm at our residence and farm buildings. In mid-August, 2019, we had inside, electronic damage due to a lightning strike. When repair difficulties arose, Security Alarm sent their most-experienced alarm technician at no charge to figure out what was still wrong. After a very long Friday, Jim found the problem, made the repair, programmed the main panel, and tested every component of the alarm system. Now, everything is working correctly. I really appreciated Security Alarm's fair handling of the repair and their honesty exemplified through not charging me for unproductive time when, for whatever reason, they were not able to correctly diagnose the problem (the problem was ultimately a defective new, out-of-the-box part that they replaced). From Larry who sold the alarm to Daniel and Aaron Dice who worked with me, we have a trouble fee unit.
